The Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica are by far the most important places for the history of human civilization. After the Museums the visit continues to Saint Peter’s Square with the colonnade made by Bernini and then onto the the Basilica, the most important place of Catholicism, built over the centuries by famous architects such as Michelangelo himself, with its famous Dome which is one of the symbols of Rome. Once inside the greatest church in the world you will admire unique masterpieces from different artists and eras, such as the famous "Pieta" of Michelangelo and then again works of Bernini and Canova.
Please note that on Wednesday morning tours, due to the Papal Audience, St. Peter's Basilica could be closed. Customers who wish to see the Basilica should book in the afternoon or on another day.
